When my husband and I bought our 1st home, I loved decorating it but I never could find the right thing I would want for my own home and I found myself constantly making our home decor. I knew there had to be people, like me, who couldn’t find what they were looking for, to accent their homes. I felt the call to share my projects as my ideas flowed in. I’ve always had a passion for crafting and come from a long line of crafters who have been an inspiration and mentors to me. Crepe Myrtle Home brings something special to your home, business, or special occasion in our wreaths, door hangers, and floral arrangement pieces that can be used indoors or outdoors. It’s a joy to me to keep my family history of crafters alive.
As long as she can remember Adria has been creative, whether crafting or finding creative ways to teach history to high school students. As a child she would walk to the craft store for beads which led to a love of jewelry making and a desire to learn metalsmithing. After retiring from teaching she moved to Dale Hollow Lake and started Forged by Adria. Inspired by nature and the beauty of gemstones, Adria uses fire and hammers to transform silver and copper into beautiful works of wearable art.
This husband and wife team and their baby daughter have lived in Cookeville and Putnam County their entire lives. “We wanted to add something valuable and personal to the city, and we couldn’t imagine that anything could better connect people than ice cream.” Their uniqueness comes from the fact that they make all of their ice cream - and almost all of the candy inside of it - from scratch in their onsite ice cream kitchen.

Having a pack of seven rescue dogs, we want to give them delicious, natural, and healthy treats they love. This started us experimenting with pet treat recipes at home. It was a success...they love them and we feel better knowing they are getting a more natural, healthy treat. As we shared our homemade pet treats with friends and family, we found they and their pets were thrilled with the results. We wanted to share that success with other pet families. We are passionate about animals with a strong commitment to our community and will use our success to help others in need.
"My name is Raven Ariana Williamson, and I'm originally from Lancaster, Ca. I have lived in Cookeville for 12 years. I've been drawing ever since I was old enough to pick up a Crayola. My grandmother was very artistic, and I'd like to think she passed some of her talent down to me. I usually paint or draw traditionally, However over the past 5 years I've been drawing digitally on my iPad pro. It offers a large variety of products I can make my art into, and has helped me grow significantly as an artist."

Then in 2018, jams and jellies were added. in 2019, they launched fruit cobblers, and the Rhodes Girls business was born. All of the fruit is sourced from family farms in California & Tennessee.

I use foraging and wildcrafting as a means to connect with and get to know the natural world around me. My goal is to produce sustainable apparel with a story. I scour thrift stores for unique pieces to upcycle and give new life with botanical dyes. I have a deep love for plants and love making wearable art with plant allies I've developed a relationship with.
Susan invented her dream job based on her love of fine craft, nature, and a desire to work for herself. “For as long as I can remember, I have enjoyed making things and being outside. We live in an amazing place and it is easy to find inspiration in the world around us.” Using bright colors, carved texture, complementary patterns and her own whimsical perspective, Susan captures a light-hearted view of the natural world and pairs it with thrown and hand-built functional, white stoneware.

"After I graduated college and started working full time as a drafter for a local architecture firm, I started baking French Macarons as a challenge and I fell in love with the creativity of it! Once I had my daughter October 2020, I started running my business full time. I create a variety of flavors based off of the season, my favorite desserts (I have a major sweet tooth), and also customer input! I now have an online shop that is available to order from and I do events and pop ups at local shops!"
"I consider my woodworking a hobby and enjoy the relaxation it provides from my everyday demands. When you take a “chunk” of wood and start shaving off as it turns rapidly in front of you, your gouges and scrapers become brushes on a canvas. This allows me to escape and create what is in my mind at the time. The neat and wonderful thing about these Treasures is that they are “One-of-a-Kind Treasures, Made One at a Time”
