etsy Entrepreneurship program

Do you make custom jewelry, decorative home items, or other handmade products for sale or gift giving? This program will teach you how to run an online shop for your unique line of handcrafted items.

Who is etsy Entrepreneurship for?

You! If you are a maker and need help turning your passion and talent into a business this program is for you. Whether you’ve been selling on Etsy for a while and seen some success, or you’re stumped on one area in particular, this Etsy Entrepreneurship Program is designed to help you take the next step in your Etsy journey! 

eligibility Requirements

  • Have at least one handmade item ready to sell
  • Commit to attending both classes
  • Live in or around White County, TN
  • Have a checking account and debit/credit card
  • Have regular access to a computer with an internet connection
  • Be at least 18 years of age

How does the program work?

This workshop is taught by successful online craft sellers who will share best practices on topics that impact sellers most, including getting discovered on Etsy, taking better pictures of your products, and building your brand. This program is specifically designed for creative makers from underserved communities.


This session will be taught by Alaina Smith of Knoxville Entrepreneur Center.

Why etsy Entrepreneurship?

This program is designed to help craft makers like you grow your online business, increase sales and reach a wider audience. This class is designed specifically for sellers who have opened an Etsy shop and are currently making sales on Etsy.


The Etsy Entrepreneurship Program is coming Fall of 2022.  Applications will open once a date is set. 

We ask for businesses to apply because we want to fill the program with participants that are at a place in their business that our team can most help.  Once you apply your application will be reviewed by our program coordinator Jess Lewis and we will confirm your acceptance via email.
