Privacy Policy
What we collect, why, and what we do with it.
Last reviewed 2 September 2026.
At The Biz Foundry, accessible from https://thebizfoundry.org, one of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors. This Privacy Policy document describes the types of information we collect and how we use it.
If you have questions or would like more information about this policy, contact us at info@thebizfoundry.org.
Log files
The Biz Foundry follows the standard practice of using log files. These log visitors when they visit websites, and all hosting companies do this as part of their analytics. The information collected includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider, date and time stamp, referring and exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. None of it is linked to information that personally identifies you. It is used to analyse trends, administer the site, track movement around the website, and gather demographic information.
Cookies
Like most websites, The Biz Foundry uses cookies. They store information such as your preferences and the pages you visited, and are used to improve your experience by tailoring page content to your browser type and other information.
You can disable cookies through your browser settings. Details for managing cookies in a specific browser are on that browser's own website.
Forms and our newsletter
We use HubSpot to run the forms on this site — coaching enquiries, programme applications, event registrations and newsletter signups — and to manage the contact records those forms create. Information you enter into a form on this site is stored in HubSpot and used to respond to you and to administer the programme you applied for.
HubSpot also sets cookies to associate form submissions with website visits. Their privacy notice covers how they handle that data.
Analytics and advertising
We use Google Tag Manager to load the measurement tools below, and each of them sets its own cookies.
Google Analytics tells us which pages are read, how people arrive and how they move through the site. It is reported in aggregate and we do not use it to identify individual visitors.
Google Ads and the Meta Pixel measure whether our advertising works — whether someone who saw an ad went on to apply for a program or book a coaching session. Both can also be used to show our ads again to people who have visited this site, on Google properties and on Facebook and Instagram.
You can opt out of personalised Google advertising through Google's own ad settings, and out of Meta's through your Facebook or Instagram ad preferences. Disabling cookies in your browser stops all of it.
Third-party sites
This policy applies only to The Biz Foundry's website. We link to other organisations — partners, sponsors, programme providers and booking tools — and each has its own privacy policy. We would encourage you to read the policy of any site you follow a link to, since we have no control over their practices.
Children's information
Protecting children online matters to us. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and monitor their children's online activity.
The Biz Foundry does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If you believe your child has provided this kind of information on our website, contact us and we will make every effort to remove it promptly.
Online activity only
This policy applies to our online activities and to visitors to this website. It does not apply to information collected offline or through channels other than this website.
Consent
By using our website, you consent to this Privacy Policy and agree to our Terms and Conditions.
